A tandem Skydive is one of three options we offer for you to experience your first jump. A Tandem Skydive is where you're physically attached to an instructor by a harness. This allows you the thrill of freefall with the comfort of an experienced instructor. You exit the aircraft in Tandem from 9,000 feet above the ground, free fall for roughly 40 seconds, and then descend under a parachute built for two. You descend slowly, making nice carving turns through the sky for approximately 5 minutes allowing you to enjoy the breath-taking view. Together you and your instructor will flare your canopy for a nice soft landing. After just one-half hour of instruction, you will be on your way to the experience of a lifetime.
For your safety, you must weigh 220 lbs. or less and be at least 18 years old to jump tandem. Start-to-finish, allow three hours on weekdays or half a day on weekends. Sign Me Up. Prices
To help get you to your skydive faster please fill out our waiver and bring it with you on the day of your jump. Waiver
Imagine your Facebook profile picture being a close-up of you in free fall.
You know what they say: If it aint on video.... it didn't happen.
Most people will only make one jump in their entire lifetime. Why not capture the moment for your friends and family with our video and stills package? A videographer with special cameras attached to his helmet, goes along on your jump and films everything; from your instruction and gearing up process to getting in the plane and taking off.
He will then go in free fall with you to capture you exiting the plane, your free fall (up close and personal), your parachute opening and your parachute landing. All this will include a pre-jump interview along with your reactions immediately after you land.
Your video will then be edited to a DVD and set to music to create your very own "mini-movie" with you as the star.
Your video package will include 40 to 50 awesome pictures for framing and instant uploading to Facebook or any other site.
We use a high end 14 mega pixel camera and you will receive a disc with all the digital pictures for your use. Be sure to tell the scheduler of your wishes. Video is not always available. If you know you want the video/stills package please tell the scheduler when you speak with him or her.

The Advanced Freefall Program (AFP) is a structured skydiving course that has been continuously developed since 1984 by one of the largest and most respected training drop zones in the world. It is the most progressive and complete instructional program in the world. Although there are different training programs being used around the world, AFP continues to instruct where other programs stop short. AFP has inspired the
United States Parachute Associations requirements for self-supervision, thus producing more competent and confident skydiving students. AFP graduates have excelled in all aspects of the sport.
As a part of AFP, the student completes the objectives of the Tandem Progression. This consists of two jumps. These two jumps introduce flight planning, freefall body positions, dive flow, altitude awareness, heading awareness, parachute deployment procedures, and canopy flight skills. Although you're not required to make both of these jumps on the same day, many people choose to do so which speeds up the training.
One hurdle in learning such an extreme sport is the sensory overload that occurs naturally, which is accentuated when making your first jump alone. But because these jumps are done in tandem with your instructor, who has thousands of jumps, the overload is diminished and the difference in the learning curve is dramatic.
You will practice skills your instructor teaches you on the ground prior to the jumps and the instructor will use hand signals during freefall to remind you what to do. After you open the parachute, the instructor will be able to talk you through canopy flight while you are actually flying the parachute for both of you. Can you imagine a better or safer way of learning and building confidence than to have an expert behind you talking in your ear?
Next you will attend the AFP Transition Class which begins your journey to solo freefall with a detailed 6-7 hour ground course. In the Transition Class you will be taught solo freefall emergency procedures, hand signals, Golden Rules #1, 2, 3, & 4, exit and freefall techniques, high performance canopy flight and landing skills. The first AFP jump dive flow will be similar to the initial tandem jump except you will be using your own parachute system and two instructors will hold onto you during the entire dive and only release you after you deploy your canopy.
AFP allows students to progress at their own rate in a supportive rather than stressful environment. This style of teaching caters to students of all ability levels by providing individualized attention. The AFP supervised environment enables each student to demonstrate sufficient and competent skills for equipment inspection, freefall, canopy flight and packing throughout the 8 level program.
In only eight jumps you can receive your solo skydiving certificate which allows you to jump by yourself. You will then be coached by experienced coaches and intructors to further your training and help you to achieve your first
USPA issued sport parachute license.Prices
You must weigh 240 lbs. or less and be at least 18 years old for AFP.
Your ground instruction takes from 4 to 5 hours. A static line jump takes place from 3,000 ft. There is no freefall involved. You exit the aircraft and your parachute is deployed immediately for you by a static line which is attached to the airplane.
After your 4 to 5 minutes of soaring around under your parachute, you are directed by the radio you wear to a landing in the student landing area. With the guidance of an instructor, you'll experience a nice soft landing. You must weigh 240 lbs. or less and be at least 18 years old for a Static Line Jump. Sign Me Up. Prices
Experienced jumpers are required to be U.S. Parachute Association
