Directions

Skydive Iowa is located about 4 miles north of I-80, and 1 1/2 miles east/NE of Brooklyn, IA on Highway 6.

1922 US Hwy 6
Brooklyn, IA 52211
(641) 522 - JUMP (5867)

When coming from the West:

Take I-80 East to exit 191. Take exit 191. (The sign says to Tama.) This is Highway 63. Turn left on Highway 63 and drive north approximately 4 miles. You will drive through a small town called Malcom, just north of I-80. Continue north until coming to a T intersection with a stop sign. {There is only one stop sign on this road.} This is Highway 6. Turn right and drive east approximately 8 miles.
Skydive Iowa is on the right {south side of the road}. Huge brick sign. Several hangars. One with an orange windsock on top. Several orange flags.

When coming from the East:

Take I-80 West to exit 201. This is Highway 21.
Turn right on Highway 21 and drive North approximately 4 miles to a T intersection with a stop sign. {There is only one stop sign on this road.}
(it's actually possible to continue straight through the intersection, but then you would be on an un-maintained dirt road. Don't do that.)
This is Highway 6. Turn left and continue west on Highway 6 approximately 2 1/2 miles.
Skydive Iowa is on your left {south side of the road}.
Huge brick sign. Several hangars. One with an orange wind sock on top. Several orange flags.

CAUTION:

Do not get suckered into taking OLD Hwy 6 which is about a mile (or so) south of the Highway 6 you need to get to. Make sure you drive all the way to the T intersection which has a stop sign.

For Google Maps:

Caution: The "Google Maps" directions have some mistakes, like telling you to turn on "Old" Hwy 6. That's a "no - no". Don't do that. They also tell you folks coming from the east to take exit 197 and drive through Brooklyn. There is no need to do that. The best and easiest directions are typed out above.
